High School in Spain
Nestled on Europe’s Iberian Peninsula, this diverse nation is home to a wealth of art, culture, museums, monuments, beaches, cities, and cuisine. Want to learn more about this amazing country first hand? You can with our high school study abroad programs!
Overview
Our High School Exchange Program in Spain will enable you to immerse yourself in Spanish culture while living with a Spanish host family and sharing in their daily life. As a family member, you will participate in activities and adapt to the family rules as if they were your own. You’ll also attend the high school nearest your host family ́s home. The high schools usually have classes from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. Optional short trips & excursions are available by request.
Option 1: Public High School
Our programs are located throughout Spain and participants may be placed in either a residential, urban or rural area.
Option 2: Private High School
When it comes to private schools, it is their location instead that helps us to choose the right family; whether students can make their own way to the school, or whether they may need public or school transport. We provide a list of locations or schools and their conditions for this option. In many cases, we adapt to student’s preferences, considering any prior selection of a specific area, or even the kind of host family.
